When: Saturday October 6, 2012
Where: Intersection of W. King St. and
Selvidge St. in downtown Dalton, GA
Time: Half Marathon – 8:00 AM
5K – 8:30 AM
2K – Approximately 11:30 AM (Immediately following Half Marathon Awards)
Entry Fee: Half Marathon – $45 until Aug. 6, 2012 and $60 after
5K – $25 until Sept. 28, 2012 and $30 after
2K -$10 until Sept. 28, 2012 and $15 after
School age 2K finishers will receive finisher dog tags
Mile markers will be at every mile along the Half Marathon and 5K course.
There will be water stations, motivation stations and porta toilets along both Half Marathon and 5K courses
There will be Spirit Awards for yards that display the most spirit on the Half Marathon course.
*Shirts are not guaranteed on Race Day to those that register after Sept. 15.

The Course
Flat, fast and certified. Mile Markers, timing clocks, medical support at the start, along the course and finish and enthusiastic support to carry you through along the way!
Requirements
- You must be in good health and prepared to take on the challenges of a Half-Marathon, 5K or 2K Fun Run
- Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome and encouraged
- Strollers, head phones are welcome but caution is urged
- You must show photo ID to pick up your race number at the Expo
- You must be able to complete the 13.1 mile/Half-Marathon Course in four hours
- Race numbers are required to participate Walkers Welcome!
Awards
Age Group Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in all Age Groups in the Half Marathon and 5K in addition to:
First Place Overall Male and Female
First Place Overall Male and Female Masters (40-50)
First Place Overall Male and Female Grand Masters (50+) No duplication of awards
Half Marathon Age Groups
0 – 19, 20 – 24, 25-29, 30 – 34, 35-39, 40 –44, 45-49 , 50 – 54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+
Half Marathon -Corporate Team Awards will be given three deep to the company with the 5 fastest finishers.
5K Age Groups 0 – 10, 11-14, 15-19, 20 – 24, 25-29, 30 – 34, 35-39, 40 – 44, 45-49 , 50 – 54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+
5K – Team awards will be given three deep to the High School with the fastest 5 finishers
5K – Team awards will be given three deep to the church with the fastest 5 finishers.
2K – Team awards will be given three deep to the Elementary School and Middle School with the fastest 10 finishers.
